How to view the Portfolio Timeline report.
- Make sure you have an organization that is on the Enterprise plan.
- Ensure your projects in the has start and end dates set for the report project bars to display.
- Click the reports icon on the left menu icon. This will bring you to the Dashboard tab.
- Click the Portfolio Timeline tab.
- Select your organization if you belong to more than one organization. If you have more than one organization, you can swap between them while in the report view by clicking the caret dropdown arrow to the right of the organization name at the top of the report.
- Click the Filters button in the upper right side of the page if you would like to filter your list.
- NOTE: The projects without start and end dates will not display their bars in this view.
- Use the Zoom bar to specify your date range view.
If you have a Stack (grouped sub-projects) in your portfolio, you can click on the stack name or bar to expand to see its children projects.
How to scroll and use the zoom feature.
- Select one of the zoom options, such as All, 6m, 3m, etc to specify the boundaries
- The vertical orange line in the chart represents today's date
- You can grab the zoom handles at either end to manage the boundary dates
- You can grab and slide the zoom bar window right or left
- You can use your mouse to slide the chart left or right (or finger on a tablet)

- Hover with your mouse over either the project name or the project bar.
- You will see a popup showing the dates, progress percent, and how many issues or risks. The issues/risk number is a link that will bring you to the project's issues/risk list. You can also click the "Go to Project" button to open the project.
Hide projects with no dates
At times your portfolio may have a number of projects without start and end dates. These projects will be listed in the Portfolio Timeline report (grayed out), but they will not be displaying timeline bars. If you want to see only projects that have timeline bars in your report, you can filter out the no-dates projects.
- Click the Filters button in the upper right to slide open the drawer.
- Click the checkbox "Hide projects with no dates" as shown in the image below
