How to Publish Your Recipe to the Store

Any user that has Recipe Admin permissions can upload and publish a recipe to the Pie Recipe Store. This article will how you how.

Content security notification: When a recipe is being published to the store, Pie will automatically send an email to notify the those who hold the Organization Admin permission. Ensure you have the rights or permission from your organization to publish your recipe. Once it's published, anyone in the world would be able to import if you're offering it for free or purchase and then import it if you're charging a fee.

Steps to upload your recipe

1. Go to your Recipe List page.
2. Click the Recipe Store tab.
3. Click the search field to view a dropdown list of your recipes or type your recipe name and select it from the results list.
4. Read the agreement page and agree if you have the permissions to upload the recipe.
5. Pie will create a duplicate store version recipe on your Recipe List page. This is now the recipe that is linked to the store recipe item. You can archive or delete the original recipe since this is the one that will be used when people import it from the Store.
6. The recipe item pages are ready to fill out your content. View the above video for the details. All red asterisks fields are required. See the help page describing all details on setting up your content.
7. You will need to fill out the content for each page tab — Description, Creator, SEO, and Settings.
8. Ensure you click on the help tip links under each section for help on defining the best content, adding visuals, and optimizing for search engine results (SEO).
9. When ready click the publish radio button and click update. 
10. Pie will automatically notify us to review and approve your recipe. Once approved, you will receive an email and your recipe will be published live on the store.

You can update or replace your Store recipe in the future.

You can hide or remove your Store recipe in the future.
