This article is for updating Store Recipe after it has been published.
Updating changes to your recipe for the store
If you need to make a change in your store recipe, do so from the store version listed on your Recipe List page. If you have the original recipe along with the duplicated store recipe (the one with the store version date), updating the original version will not have any affect. You have to update the one with the version date. When you open it, you should see a blue bar at the top saying it's connected to the store. If you don't see that then that's not the one connected. See this example:
On a side note, we recommend you archive the original (not connected to the store) recipe or delete it from your list to avoid confusion.
When you change anything in your store version recipe on your Recipe List page, it's automatically ready for the store. This means when people import or purchase your recipe, they will be importing a copy of this store version from your Recipe List page.
When you make a change in your store recipe, you will see the blue bar change to yellow/orange as in the following example:
If your change is minor and you don't need to notify the people who previously imported your recipe to tell them to import the new version, the just click on the "Update date" button. This will update the version date of the recipe on your recipe's Pie Store page.
If your change is substantial enough to share with anyone who has previously imported your recipe, first add tags to indicate which tasks have changed (see video below before doing this) and then click on "Update importers". This will open a page for you to enter a comment and then submit to the users.
It's important to use the tag format "Updated [yyyy-mm-dd]" as shown in the following how-to video for adding tags.

Replacing your store recipe with a new recipe
If you create a new separate recipe on your Recipe List page and want to now use that one instead for your store recipe page, you will need to upload it from the store recipe configuration page.
- Go to your Recipe List page.
- Click Recipe Store tab.
- Find your recipe bar in the section under My Store Recipes and click it to open it to its configuration page.
- Click the Settings tab.
- Click on the Replace Recipe button and search and select the new version.
- Pie will then make a new copy of that recipe concatenating its name with the version date.
- You can then delete or archive the older version. (We recommend you archive it if users have imported it from the Store in the past so you can use it as reference if they have any questions.
