What is that orange jumping indicator when creating tasks?

When creating a task in a project you may have noticed an animated orange indicator with vertical bars show up for a fraction of a second or up to a couple seconds. 

This is a visual indicator showing that the application is working on both UI front end updates and backend server propagations.

The purpose of this visual is to give you an indication as to when the update is completed so you can quickly add another task or drag another task in a board view. Note that this indicator feature was not implemented for recipes since recipes are generally fast with updates to the server and back.
