Pie has a few features that allows you to automatically assign a person to multiple tasks at once.
Option One - Auto assign yourself to all tasks you create
As a project creator, you can set up your project to automatically assign your name to all tasks you create. To do this, go to your project configuration page, click on your name bar to expand it. then at the bottom you will see a check box item called "Auto Assign Me to Tasks I Auto Create". Check this check box. The next time you create a new task in your project, it will auto assign you to that task.
Option Two - Assign a person to all tasks in a task list in a project
Go to a task list page where you have tasks under a slice or under a box. To the upper right of the task list you will see an ellipse icon (dot dot dot). Click this to show the more options. Select the "Assign task list to project member..." line and then you can assign a project team member and that person will be automatically assigned to all tasks on this one page. This feature is not available to the tasks in the Board view.
Option Three - Using roles to auto assign in projects
You can set up people title roles to tasks in a recipe. Then create a project from the recipe and that project's tasks will also include their roles. You can then assign project team members to the roles in the project configuration page people page, roles tab. When you do this, Pie will automatically propagate tasks assignments based on the roles.
